Originally from Hanover, PA, Seidenstricker gratefully acknowledges and credits her early training to Hildegard Hamme, Barbra Hare, and Frank Hatchett.

 

            Graduating from Slippery Rock University with a BA in Dance, as well as completing an intern program at Broadway Dance Center, Seidenstricker moved to New York City to officially begin her performing arts career.  Among her company credits include Amy Kail Dance, Skip Costa Core-Movement NYC, Flo Dance, and Mad Cap Productions.  She has also had the privilege to perform under the direction of Ursula Payne and Doug Elkins.

 

           Ms. Seidenstricker founded ASEID Contemporary Dance Company, in February of 2003 and has been showcasing her work throughout New York,Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.   In May of 2006, she produced ASEID’s first solo concert, at the Dicapo Opera Theatre inNew York City.

In 2005, Ms. Seidenstricker co-produced When Paths Collide at Lincoln Centers Clark Studio Theatre, with Dual Dance and Mad Cap Productions.  ASEID has also performed with Ballet Builders 2005, The Hartford City Ballet, and The Long Island Dance Consortium.  Pictures of ASEID were featured in the November 21, 2005 edition of Time Magazine.  In 2003, while on their national tour, The New York Theater Ballet debuted Seidenstricker’sWhile Walking and Replacing Accents. 

 

            Dedicated to the education of dancing in the studio as well as the classroom, Seidenstricker has taught “Integration of Movement/ Kinesthetic Learning” semesterly to education majors at Albright College.  She teaches regularly throughout Long Island as well as master classes throughout the United States.
